We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to handle all aspects of social media for multiple music festival brands.
OVERVIEW
As a Social Media Coordinator, you'll be responsible for creating, editing, distributing, and optimizing relevant, contextual, and personalized content across social media platforms to attract, engage and retain customers. You’re a great fit if you can take a content idea, apply it strategically across multiple channels, plan, and execute end-to-end. You'll analyze performance data and make daily changes and optimizations to achieve set marketing objectives. This is a remote, part-time/freelance 5-month contract opportunity with possible extensions. You must be available to work a 20 - 30hr/week schedule, with additional hours required during festivals. You must be able to travel to Michigan in July, August, and September for each festival.
JOB DUTIES
* Monitor and maintain multiple festival brand social media accounts including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
* Communicate via social media with fans on a daily basis.
* Review and analyze various content including photos, videos, news, events, ratings and reviews; provide strategic and actionable recommendations on ways to optimize social media content.
* Perform competitor analysis to understand the appeal of other marketing efforts and social media approaches in the market.
* Respond to all inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
* Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred
* Minimum of 1+ years experience maintaining brand social media sites across multiple platforms and channels
* Knowledge of current social media technologies, trends, and competition
* Ability to design and manage social marketing campaigns via various social media sources
* Strong customer service skills, creativity, and ability to strategize
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
COMPENSATION
This position is hourly, with pay starting at $18 per hour.
